IPhone - New tool for the new year!

I finally decided to break down and get a cell phone this year. I did a lot of research and decided to get the new iPhone4Gs. Let me tell you that it is one of the best tools available for the Internet marketer. I looked at the Kindle Fire and was almost going to get that and since I was familiar with the iPod touch I decided to look at the iPhone. The things I liked was the Sari voice interface. I discovered that there is a Dragon Dictation app on the iPod and it worked great! Now I have voice to text input for article writing! Plus having voice commands is so cool.

I have discovered several apps that allow me to work on this blog site with no laptop anywhere I want. Plus the different apps for travel will come in handy. I plan to type more articles on how I use this versatile phone for my article marketing. If you are doing the same I love to hear about it! Drop me a line I'm open for ideas!

Purpose and history

Welcome to my Blog. The title says it all about what this blog is about. But before I tell you about my blog, I'll give you a story that brought me here. I was like any other person, going to a 9 to 5 type job like I have been doing for over 31+ years. Then the arm of fate gave me a bad blow. Showed up for work one day and within 3 hours, I was history in the company by a layoff. I no longer had a job, but I had the benefits from 31 years of work. The best was 62 weeks of severance pay and what am I going to do?

I did a lot of thinking for 2 months and decided either of 3 options are possible in my case:

1. I can get another job, pack up, move away from a lot of family and friends and start all over
at age 54, only will this happen again?
2. Do a lot of home studying for the IT field and get certified after a lot of hard study.
3. Look into internet marketing which could hopefully solve most if not all my problems for
the future.

I started out with number 2 and still continuing to get it done because of the job opportunities.
But more and more I thought about "How can I never have this type of situation happen again?" After staying home for a full 2 months, I started thinking, "This is nice, I could do this!" I told my friends.

So now this is what my blog is, my trials and learning all there is to know to about internet marketing. Right now I'm open for ideas, methods, what is involved, and how you came about getting started in internet marketing. I would like to know your trials and successes so I hopefully don't try them.
